Cookie exchange

Last night my friend Hilary had a cookie exchange at her house. Everyone was to make 5 dozen cookies/bars/brownies of there choice and bring them to exchange. I had never been to a party like this before but I had heard of them, so I was super excited to go. Being pregnant didn't help me any because all I wanted to do was sample every thing. How it worked was before you left you grabbed a platter and filled it with all the different cookies that everyone brought. I should have taken a picture of my platter, it was beautiful :) I had such a good time visiting and munching on goodies that I didn't end up leaving until after 11 pm. I can't wait for next year.

Here are all the cookies spread out on Hilary's island. There were so many to choose from, thankfully you got to take about 4 or so of each, so you got a good variety.

There were 3 other pregnant women there besides me. Teresa (due in February), Nadine (due April 2nd), Sam (due April 5th) and me (due May 29th). This is also their second pregnancy and they all have boys except for me. Teresa is having another boy and so is Sam. Nadine is keeping hers a surprise as she did the same with her first. I am so excited to have friends who are pregnant around the same time I am. It has been nice to talk to them about how it will be having another one.

Almost all of these women I met through Stroller Strides. I have know them for almost two years, but it seems like I have known them much longer. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends. Thanks Hilary for a wonderful evening.
