The Taste of Edmonds

Friday the 8Th we went to the Taste of Edmond's with our friends Scott, Emily and their two girls Allie and Olivia. We had so much fun walking around smelling all the good food and trying to figure out what we wanted for dinner and then dessert, yummy!!
Friday was the first day of the festival, it was pretty crowded, but thankfully we found a great parking spot, and didn't have to walk far. We took Jordan's stroller so we didn't have to worry about her running off and us having to chase after her. She is at the age were the word "STOP" doesn't mean anything to her.
There was a kid area with a lot of bouncy houses and slides. There were pony rides as well. Jordan enjoyed just looking at the ponies, they were so stinky, I think because of the heat. There was a climbing wall with a hundred dollars at the top and who ever got to the top claimed the $100, it cost $5 each try or 3 tries for $10. We watched people try for about 15 minutes. It was kind of funny to watch them because it looked so easy until they got close to the top and then they would fall down. I suppose it was just a trick to get your money but we had a good time watching.
Unfortunately, I didn't bring my camera because I had left it at my mom's house. I could have taken so many pictures of Allie and Jordan together. At one point they were both in Jordan's stroller together, they are still so small that they could both fit in the seat together, which they thought was so much fun.
After we got our food, Emily and I choose cheeseburgers and the boys got some Cajun seafood wrap, we park ourselves in from of a Mexican band. We let the girls out of their strollers and they danced around holding hands and then falling down, they had so much fun. After dinner we choose our desserts. Emily and I saw a bunch of people walking around with a HUGE sundae with brownies, ice cream, fudge and a topping of your choice. It looked so good we had to have it. We stood in a huge line and by the time we got to the front they had sold out of their brownies. I overheard a woman working the stand saying "tomorrow we are cutting the brownies in half". They had already gone through 6,000 brownies that day. Scott and Emily stayed in line and got the sundae's minus the brownies and I decided that I wanted something else. Jesse got strawberry shortcake and after being so picky I finally decided on a crepe with chocolate and vanilla moose with fudge, carmel and nuts on top, it was so so yummy and big I couldn't eat it all so Jesse ate the rest.
We had such a fun time, we will definitely go back next year.
