Our trip to Remlinger Farm

Oh my goodness, I can't believe we have never been to Remlinger Farm before, it was so much fun!! Jordan and I met a few of our friends today at the farm, Aaron, Amy, Cooper and Kelsey, Maria and Ashley, Hilary, her sister Megan, Avery and Ryder and Kelly. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it definitely exceeding my expectations. The first thing we did when we got there was take the kids on a pony ride. Jordan was so excited to ride the pony, she loves horses so much. Jordan got to ride Buttercup. I was a little nervous at first because the pony was more like a big horse, but I got to walk along side her the whole ride. She loved every second of it and kept petting Buttercups mane.

Next we got in line for the train ride. The ride only lasted about 8 minutes but the kids loved every minute. The train ride went around a good portion of the park and we got to see lots of different animals, Cows, Emus, Lamas and more.

After the train ride we went to the cars. They were old fashioned cars that went around a track and there was a steering wheel that you could steer, which Jordan thought was so fun that she was actually driving the car. There wasn't a line so the ride operator let us go twice. Jordan didn't want to get out of the car.

Jordan and Ashley best buddies for the day. They loved holding each others hand and walking around together.

After the car ride we went to the Farris wheel ride. I wasn't sure how Jordan was going to do. She has never been on any rides before and I was hoping that she wasn't going to freak out. I asked Jordan who she wanted to ride with and her friend Avery offered to go with her. As soon as I put her in the cage she started squealing with excitement. I was relieved that she wasn't screaming to get out. When the ride started she was laughing and having such a good time.

The next ride she got to go on was a carousel ride. This one I was a little nervous too because she sits on the horse and has to hold onto the pole and all that is holding her on is a little seat belt. I was hoping she wouldn't get scared and want to get off mid ride. Again she did great, she loved it, and held on so tight the entire ride.

After the carousel ride we went on yet another ride. I loved this one, it was so much fun. I don't know the name but we were in pumpkins and they went around in a circle and moved up and down. It was pretty fast and I gave Jordan the control of the pumpkin and she was moving us up and down.

The ride in motion

The rides close down from 1:30-2 pm so the attendants can have a break. During that time we went to the petting zoo. Jordan got to feed the goats, sheep, chicken's and bunnies.

This guy knew you were giving him food so while he was waiting he would bang his horns on the bars, it was really funny.

During the break from the rides we went and had lunch at their restaurant. After lunch we headed back to the rides and Ashley and Jordan went on the canoe ride. It was so cute a little canoe that went around the water which Jordan couldn't keep her hands out of.

After the canoe ride we went on the roller coaster. I was so excited, it looked like so much fun. Again I was a little nervous not knowing how Jordan was going to react. She loved it so much, I told her to put her hands in the air and scream :)

Weeeeee!!

We got the front seat

Amy and Cooper in the front, Aaron and Kelsey behind them, Jordan and I in the third seat and Maria and Ashley were behind us.

We probably went on the roller coaster 5 times. Jordan loved every bit of it. Every time the ride would end she would say "More, more", a few times there was no one waiting in line for the coaster so the guy let us stay on and keep going. When we had to get off Jordan started to cry.

We had such a great time. It was well worth the $20 cost of admission, $10 per person. We will definitely be going back and hopefully next time Jesse can join us. I don't know if Jordan will remember this day, but I will remember it forever.
