Heat wave

Last Sunday, when it was so so hot, my mom watched Jordan during the day and after work Jesse and I headed over to her house to BBQ and swim in the pool. When we arrived at my mom's we could hear Jordan from the driveway, she was screaming and laughing in the pool with my mom. She loves being in the pool and cries when we tell her she has to get out. My mom bought her some water wings, which she loves, she just floats around. She really wants to swim by her self and has no fear of letting go of us.

Our friends Scott, Emily and their girls Allison and Olivia came over to BBQ with us. Jordan and Allie have so much fun together, they always scream with excitement when they first see each other.

We all got in the pool and swam around and had so much fun. It was so nice to relax and cool off because it had been so hot the last few days. I had to work all weekend and I was sad that I had to work, but part of me was glad that I got to be in AC both days.

This picture was taken after dinner. The girls were dry and had clean clothes and decided they wanted to get back in the pool. They were so funny with that big full of water diaper on.

We had such a good time and can't wait to go swimming in the pool again. Thankfully the weather got hot enough, hopefully it will stay that way at least until September.
