Our Great Wolf Lodge experience

We had been talking about going to the Great Wolf Lodge for awhile but kept debating if Jordan was old enough. Finally we decided that we were going to go. We wanted to do something fun with Jordan before the baby comes. Thursday we headed out to Great Mound for a fun filled two days. Our friends the Raemer's met us up there and we decided to cut the cost and share a room with them. The room was so cute and had a great place for the girls to sleep. The room had a bunk bed and a twin bed so both girls could be on the bottom and one of them didn't have to sleep on the top bunk. The girls loved their room, we could hardly get them out of there. The room had cute animal decals all over and a TV on the wall.

Check in normally isn't until 4 pm but when we got there at 2 our room was ready so we quickly changed into our swim suits and headed to the water park. Jordan was so excited and couldn't wait to get wet.

We stayed at the water park until about 6:30 pm and then headed back to the room to get ready for dinner. There were a few different choices for dinner at the lodge. You could go to the buffet, take out pizza or they have a sit down restaurant. We thought we would try out the buffet because kids 3 and under eat free and you can't beat that.

After dinner we headed to the clock tower for the show and story time. We got there a little early so we could get a good seat.

After the show there was a story time but Jordan wasn't too interested in the story once she saw the Biko character. She loved him and wanted to get her picture with him.

She is such a big girl. I can't believe how big she is getting. I want to freezer her and keep her at this age forever :)

Jordan was so excited to go to bed. She got to sleep on the bottom bunk. We let the girls watch a little TV before they had to go to sleep.

The next morning we headed back to the water park after we checked out at 11 am. Jordan and Allie couldn't wait to get back to the water park and get into the water. On the way to the water park there is a yummy bakery with lots of fudge and candy. We stopped by the bear so Jordan could get her picture with him.

We had packed up our cars and brought a bag of stuff in with us to change into. When we go into the water park Jordan headed straight for the water. I had to tell her to wait for me or Daddy. She wasn't too happy waiting, she was being very impatient.

Snack time :) Shortly after we had some snacks we decided to head home. Jordan was so worn out she fell asleep before we hit the freeway. We had such a great time. I can't wait to go back, it might be a while since we will have a new baby in a few months. I would recommend everyone with kids go, it was such a fun time.
