Beauty and the Beast

The Sunday after Christmas my mom took Jesse, Jordan, me, my brother Paul and step-dad Dick to see Beauty and the Beast at the Village Theatre in Issaquah. My mom's sister Lynda, her husband Pat and my cousin Stephanie also joined us. We met at my mom's before hand and had a wonderful dinner. It was nice to get to see everyone and talk before heading to the show. I wasn't sure how Jordan was going to do but was hoping she would love it and be great. She absolutely loves the DVD movie of Beauty and the Beast so I knew she would know all the characters and songs. Her and Jesse pretend that she is Belle and he is the Beast. I think her favorite part of the whole movie is when the Beast turns into a guy, she talks about this happening all the time.
When we got to the theatre she was so excited to get her own seat. She sat in between my brother Paul and Jesse. There were a few other younger kids there so I wasn't' too worried about her being loud. We were in the 4th row, it was so nice how close we were to the stage. As soon as the show started Jordan was amazed, she was so excited and danced to all the songs. There is a part where Belle shows up at the castle looking for her father. The theatre was really quit and Belle was saying "Hello, Hello" and Jordan yelled out "Hello". It was so so funny, my whole family couldn't stop laughing, it was just to precious.
There was a 15 minute intermission where we could walk around a get snacks and beverages. This was great because it gave her a break and she got to have a cookie. For most of the play she sat on mine or Jesse's lap, but mostly Jesse's because she could see a little better.
We had so much fun and the play was fantastic, even Jesse thought so and he wasn't so sure how it was going to be going into it. Jordan still talks about it and would love to go back. I can't wait to take her to see other plays.
