Baby shower for baby Pape

On Tuesday night my Stroller Stride friends through one of our fellow mom's Teresa a surprise shower. She is having another boy and is due February 19th. I hadn't seen her in a while because she has been on and off bed rest for the past few months. It was so good to see her and get together with all my other mommy friends. Teresa looked so good, she was glowing. I think she was truly surprised that the party was for her. We didn't want to yell "Surprise" to loud, we were all afraid it might put her into labor :)

Nadine hosted the shower at her house and made yummy enchiladas for dinner along with lots of chips, dip and other goodies. Molly made a delicious strawberry cake with white frosting a strawberries on top, it was so so good.

We played some really fun games and ones that I had never played before which is always fun. After the games she opened her presents. It is so much fun to see all the cute baby boy stuff, I can't believe how little it is.

We all had such a good time laughing and a few crying. We realized that we had all been friends now for about a year. Most of us had started Stroller Strides in January of 2007. It is so nice to be surrounded by such wonderful women and mothers. I really appreciate them and our friendships. I made her a diaper cake
