Our quick trip to Lake Chelan

Last week we headed to Chelan to hang out with a few of our friends who where camping. Our friends Aaron and Amy had invited us camping with them and another couple Trevor and Jaime. But we decided that it might not be such a good idea with a 6 week old. I was too afraid that she would wake everyone at the camp ground up at 3 am. So we just decided to go up on Tuesday, spend the night in a hotel and come home the next night.

Tuesday we went to our friends camp site and hung out with them at the beach for a little bit and then headed back to their site for a BBQ. Jordan loved seeing her friends and playing at the beach. We hung out with them until about 10 pm or so and then headed to our hotel. The next morning we went and had breakfast at Blueberry Hill. Neither one of us had ate there before but after our meal we both agreed that it was probably the best breakfast we had ever had. We will definitely be going back.

After breakfast we walked around the town and then headed to the beach/park. We had such a wonderful time and could have stayed the whole week. Jordan and Taylor did great in the car on the way there and on the way home. Jordan loved swimming in the water even though it was icy cold and Taylor was a little sun goddess. She would be crying and then I would put her in the sun and she would stop. I think she liked the heat. She was so good, we had her laying on a beach towel in the shade for most of the day.

We can't wait to go back and hopefully we will get to go for a few days later this summer.
